Assessment Specialist- Behavioral Health, PRN

Job Summary
Coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and provide clinical assessments for potential patients in conjunction with the Intake Manager. Respond to all calls regarding psychiatric resources and inquiries, assisting callers with accessing the most appropriate level of service and provider. Collaborate with the Intake team to perform behavioral health assessments and coordinate psychiatric resources and information for patients. This onsite role requires day shifts, with availability for evening and overnight shifts. Candidates must work at least three weekday and three weekend shifts per month, including one holiday in Spring/Summer and one in Fall/Winter.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field and holds a professional license as an independent mental health professional within the State of Georgia
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting
- Licensed to perform clinical assessments to determine level of care needs and to provide a diagnostic impression according to the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual
- current licensure as a mental health professional, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or RN license in the State of Georgia
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- CPI Certified within 90 days of hire
- Must be available for day shifts
- Must be able to work at least 3 weekday shifts and 3 weekend shifts. 6 shifts total per month
- Available to work 1 holiday in Spring/Summer and 1 holiday in Fall/Winter
- THIS POSITION IS ONSITE
