Job Summary
The Intake Technician is responsible for receiving, scheduling, and/or referring inquiry calls, assisting Assessment & Referral Clinicians with intake paperwork and insurance information, and monitoring the admission process to ensure patient safety. Candidates should have a BA in mental health or significant related work experience, along with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in operating computers and multi-function telephone systems is expected. The role may require overtime and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in the intake or admissions process
- Successful completion CPR/ First Aid certification and CPI training to within 90 days of employment
