Assessment Psychologist

Job Summary
Operates as an independently licensed clinical psychologist. Provides comprehensive testing and assessment services to patients for diagnostic clarity of behavioral, emotional, and neurological disorders; for academic abilities and needs of students; and mental health services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care. Conducts comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and psychological assessments; administers psychological tests; develops treatment plans; coordinates internal/external services; collaborates within a multidisciplinary team; participates in discharge planning and family education; supports supervision and training of staff/interns; requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
- Two years of relevant experience with psychological assessment preferred.
- Relevant experience in therapy with adult, geriatric and/or child and adolescent populations recommended.
- Experience in behavioral interventions, critical incident event management and case management.
- Experience using evidence-based treatments to treat multiple behavioral health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
- State licensure Ph.D. or Psy.D. required.
