Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments utilizing person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices to determine diagnostic impressions and recommend appropriate levels of care. Complete diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5-TR criteria, assess suicide and homicide risks, and synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive clinical formulations. Collaborate with clients to identify treatment goals, coordinate referrals to internal and external programs, and ensure urgent interventions are connected to crisis services. Communicate findings to the assigned treatment team and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requires a Master's degree and New Mexico licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in human services or health-related field (including, but not limited to counseling, social work, psychology, etc.)
- Must possess one of the following New Mexico licenses: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Any candidate whom can meet state requirements to provide clinical services within their field will be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic interviewing skills
- Advanced clinical writing abilities
- Experience completing biopsychosocial assessments
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment practices
- Knowledge of ASAM
- Experience using standardized screening instruments and measurement-based care
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions in fast-paced environment
