Job Summary
Deliver 1-1 and group psychosocial interventions to support service users in HMP Wandsworth with drug and alcohol dependence, enabling them to build recovery capital and achieve sustained social reintegration. Initiate recovery journeys for individuals aiming to stop substance use, cut down, or access harm reduction information, while creatively promoting access to treatment for underrepresented communities. Manage complex, diverse needs within a busy prison environment, prioritizing information governance and safeguarding protocols. This fixed-term role (2 years) involves 37.5 hours per week and requires prison clearance. The service aims to reduce reoffending and help prisoners lead healthier lives through specialist psychosocial support.
