Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions while conducting clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and collaborative treatment planning for clients with severe mental illness. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor service utilization against plan limits, and coordinate timely reauthorizations. Facilitate relationships between consumers, guardians, and community agencies to link necessary referrals and support skill-building activities. Participate in a 24/7 first responder on-call system to coordinate immediate resources for consumers and natural support networks. Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to standardize procedures, coach staff, and manage performance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in counseling, social work or related field
- Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina; Licenses include LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that include writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete background checks and credential verification
