Job Summary
ACT Nurse (RN) sought to deliver community-based mental health services as part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in North Carolina. Responsibilities include monitoring and overseeing medical/clinical aspects of services, medication monitoring and documentation, providing psychopharmacologic and medical services, collaborating with ACT colleagues to monitor status and treatment response, conducting crisis assessments and intervention planning, delivering individual counseling and substance abuse treatment, and assisting in creating transition plans for clients moving in and out of services. Requires NC RN licensure, valid driver’s license with insurance, and DMH-approved ACTT training; compensated on a salaried basis within the posted range. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse must be licensed to practice in NC by the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- DMH-approved ACTT training for all ACT team members
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
