Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions while assisting participants in articulating recovery goals, identifying self-help strategies, and building social skills. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, and model recovery experiences to empower clients toward independent living. Support vocational choices and facilitate self-help groups, ensuring compliance with all clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in supervision as applicable based on licensure level.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) in North Carolina
- Personal experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery
- Ability to share lived experiences as part of client support
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Commitment to upholding the principles of the ACT model and person-centered care
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
