Job Summary
Mechanical assembly of aircraft interior products, including sheet metal fabrication and mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly. Responsibilities include measuring parts to tolerance, drilling taps and countersinks, using hand tools, following drawings and redline changes, bolting/screwing/riveting parts, disassembling/replacing parts, cleaning and lubricating assemblies, marking parts, performing riveting, modifying parts per drawings, identifying dash numbers, soldering and crimping operations, testing functional performance, and sharing knowledge to help others progress. Requires excellent organizational and teamwork skills, strong communication, ability to work independently, and basic knowledge of shop tools. Education: High school diploma or GED and five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
