Assembly Technician (On-Site)

Job Summary
As an In-Store Merchandise Assembler in the Dacula, GA area, you will service multiple retail chains (including Lowe's and Home Depot), moving from store to store to assemble wheelbarrows, grills, toolboxes, fitness equipment, gazebos, and patio furniture as directed. You’ll follow detailed assembly instructions and manuals, verify parts, maintain a clean, showroom-ready display, communicate with store staff, and report issues. Candidates must be 18+, own required tools (impact driver with bits, sockets, metric wrench, screwdrivers, box cutter), have reliable transportation within ~25 miles, a valid driver’s license, and a mobile phone. Training is provided; compensation is piece-rate via 1099 contractor arrangement with flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, on-call) and paid training. Production incentives and advancement opportunities are noted. The role requires lifting up to 65 pounds and working with minimal supervision; knowledge of assembly instructions, manuals, and tools is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Read and execute assembly instructions, drawings, and manuals
- Must be self-motivated, energetic and a good communicator
- Must have own tools (impact driver w/bits, sockets, metric wrench, screwdrivers, box cutter)
- Good communication skills; be professional & respectful
- Must stand & bend for long periods of time, with the ability to lift 65 pounds regularly
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to drive at least a 25-mile radius
- Must have a working mobile phone
- Availability Monday-Friday, day shift (9a – 6p most days)
- Weekends available
- Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with hand tools, power tools
- 1-year previous assembly experience
- Training is provided for inexperienced builders
