Job Summary
Install, align, connect, and fasten components into sub-assemblies or larger assemblies following standard work instructions while operating hand and power tools. Occasionally read blueprints and schematics to guide actions, use measuring equipment to ensure design compliance, and track progress via computer software. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on prescribed equipment and conduct all activities in compliance with EHS policies, including wearing required PPE and supporting hazard identification. Support the creation or improvement of assembly procedures, provide timely communications on significant issues, and ensure accurate timekeeping. This four-day, 10-hour shift role supports Beehive's mission to revolutionize jet propulsion systems for unmanned aerial defense through additive manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, standard Work Instruction adherence, hand-tool utilization, and lean manufacturing
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and task execution skills
- A high degree of initiative and the ability to learn quickly through verbal instructions and hands-on experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance

Desired Qualifications
- Strong preference given to candidates with Airframe & Powerplant or similar training /certification
- Experience working with gas turbine engines for aviation product applications
