Assembly Technician

Job Summary
Assembly Technician assembles boats per construction orders using power and non-power hand tools, reading drawings and specifications to meet takt times. The role requires use of high-energy initiative, ability to operate high-speed pneumatic/battery-powered tools (drills, drivers) safely, and adherence to PPE and safety policies. Candidate must maintain clean work areas, follow hazardous materials guidelines, and perform duties in a fast-paced environment. Strong reading/interpretation of technical documents, teamwork, attention to quality, and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to use both power and hand tools safely and effectively
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment Following PPE and safety guidelines
- ability to read drawings and specifications
- ability to perform duties with good housekeeping
- basic math skills for measurements and quantities
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as described in job responsibilities
