Job Summary
Assemble components to printed assembly specifications, read blueprints/prints, identify thread pitches for metric and standard bolts, select appropriate taps/reamers, apply Loctite and serrated lock washers, inventory components, verify parts against prints, complete non-conformance forms when needed, assemble subassemblies to overall assembly print, torque bolts correctly, fill out part tags with due dates, locate CAD drawings, install correct plumbing fittings, and perform Helicoil/thread insert installations. Requires basic measuring skills, basic hand/power tool knowledge, and basic mechanical ability; physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and working around electrical hazards and moving machinery in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma/GED or vocational/technical training plus equivalent work experience are required.
