Assembly Technician

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using hand tools and equipment, then read blueprints to ensure machines meet specifications. Perform quality checks, document defects, and operate in-house mechanical equipment like forklifts and cranes. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble units while maintaining work areas and tools. Complete safety programs including BBSO's and near misses, clock in/out via E10, and operate bead blast or paint booths. Travel on short notice as part of the apprenticeship program, with team members transferring to Field Service after completion. High school diploma required; lift 50-75 pounds. Fully onsite at Eastlake facility.
