Job Summary
Assemble electrical and electro-mechanical subassemblies for general-purpose machines, perform functional tests, and conduct quality checks. Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics; install and troubleshoot electrical components (switches, sensors, connectors, wiring harnesses); use hand and power tools, gauges, and presses; document test results and any quality issues; maintain a safe, clean work environment aligned with 6S; train new assemblers. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of electro-mechanical assembly/troubleshooting experience. Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with overtime/weekends available. Hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, with starting pay based on experience and location; located in Forest, VA, US.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting and assembly experience
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer skills
- Ability to document assembly processes and maintain safety and quality standards
