Job Summary

Assist with implementing projects of customized LED components and systems by performing a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks. Follow established procedures to check, test, and inspect finished goods for electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality before shipping, recording results as you conduct tests. Operate and maintain modern office equipment including specialized software while using tact and independent judgment within safety guidelines. This Full-Time Assembly Technician I role operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at $20.50/hour. Elemental Brands, recognized as a Company of the Year by EDAWN, drives innovation in the low-voltage linear lighting industry through Diode LED, Lucetta, and other brands.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one (1) year of relevant experience
  • equivalent experience and training
  • Ability to safely use various metrology tools equipment including but not limited to, calipers, handheld photometer, and a multimeter for purposes of evaluating product conformance
  • Ability to strategize, plan, organize, prioritize, and execute a variety of multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner
  • Work with low voltage electricity
  • Use tact, initiative, prudence, and independent judgment within general policy, procedural, and safety guidelines
  • Effectively communicate in person, over the telephone, and in writing in English
  • Core hours for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quality best practices that can be applied in the company's environment
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of continuous improvement, ISO regulations
  • Knowledge of LED's, LED drivers, controls, basic lighting terminology, photometry, and applications
  • Knowledge of test equipment including multimeters, calipers, and handheld photometers
  • Operate and maintain modern office equipment, including computer equipment and specialized software applications programs
