Job Summary
Assemble aerospace components per documentation, align subassemblies in jigs, install parts and subassemblies, and operate hand tools (drills, rivet guns, screwdrivers). Verify tolerances and measurements using calipers, gauges, and mics, read blueprints/technical drawings and customer specifications, and conduct basic troubleshooting. Maintain safe, clean work areas, follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions, adhere to safety guidelines, and comply with ITAR requirements as a U.S. Person. Regular on-site attendance is required; role involves lifting up to 100 pounds, exposure to manufacturing conditions, and use of PPE. Preferred vocational/mechanical training and up to six months of mechanical assembly experience are noted as desirable. This position is classified as safety-sensitive and may require background checks and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- ITAR compliance: U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15)
