Job Summary

Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to drawings, work instructions, and blueprints while inspecting parts for defects before assembly. Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely to meet daily production goals, troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following all company safety policies and procedures. Work with supervisors and team members to resolve production challenges and perform other manufacturing duties as assigned. This role requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-10 hour shift in a moderate noise environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical training, hobbies, automotive repair, farming, construction, military service, or similar experience
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work throughout an 8-10 hour shift
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with equipment and tools
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, automotive repair, welding, machining, fabrication, or industrial maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and think critically
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Self-motivation and willingness to cross-train in multiple departments
  • Commitment to producing high-quality products
  • Desire to grow within the company and take on additional responsibilities
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull as needed
  • Safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Desired Qualifications

  • Mechanical assembly experience
  • Blueprint reading
  • Use of precision measuring instruments
  • Basic electrical or pneumatic knowledge
  • Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
  • Continuous improvement mindset
