Job Summary
Operate saw equipment, assemble motors, drives, conveyor components, and subassemblies according to work orders and assembly drawings. Gathers, identifies, and verifies parts required for production orders while using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to verify specifications. Performs quality checks on completed assemblies and prepares finished products for transfer to crating or shipping departments. Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures and maintains a clean environment through 5S tasks. Collaborates with team leads and other departments to resolve assembly, documentation, or material-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and work instructions.
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate production equipment.
- Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing business needs.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of assembly experience preferred.
