Job Summary
Independent contractor Assembly Technician in Clemson, SC for in-store product assembly across retail chains. Responsibilities include assembling and repairing products per manufacturer instructions, ensuring retailer compliance, delivering quality customer service, checking build lists with retailer management, generating invoices, and communicating with the Area Manager. Requires basic hand tools and mechanical aptitude, ability to travel within ~50 miles, and willingness to work on your feet for extended periods. Training provided with potential to earn through piecework pay model up to $30/hour depending on productivity. Opportunities to work on items ranging from bikes, grills, furniture, to other display assemblies for major retailers like Lowe's, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, and Cabela's.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun and Mechanical aptitude
- A smart phone and e-mail address
- Internet access via a smart phone or mobile device
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within 50 miles of your location
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Kneel, bend, twist and lift 70+ pounds repeatedly
