Job Summary
Assemble and prepare fabricated and finished products for shipment to customers. Perform final assembly using hand or power tools based on drawings and work instructions. Fit and install hardware to frames, cut and fit channels to frames, and install gasketing per protocol. Inspect completed operations for quality and quantity; expedite material as required; allocate material to the proper pick-list; locate and position material. Prioritize and schedule assembly operations to ensure on-time delivery; document operations and verify all steps per documents; report issues and use Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to resolve non-compliances. Read blueprints/technical drawings, and maintain accuracy under time constraints. Requires ability to work in a high-risk environment, stand/walk, and handle up to 70–100 lb objects; safety PPE provided. 40+ hours per week typical; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K with company match, vacation, and more.
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of manufacturing / mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints, production and technical drawings
- Strong organizational, basic computer, and math skills
- Able to complete assigned tasks in a limited time frame
- Remains alert in a high-risk environment
- Maintains schedule and tasks despite interruptions
- Communicate and interact with others
- Able to write and problem solve
- 40+ hours per week will typically be necessary
