Job Summary
Assemble and repair products and merchandise at local retail stores (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's) following manufacturer instructions and retailer guidelines. Build displays and merchandise such as barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, and furniture. Operate on a per-piece pay model with seasonal, part-time scheduling and potential earnings up to $30/hour for productive technicians. Maintain a safe, clean workspace, provide customer service, check in with store management to confirm build lists, generate daily invoices, and communicate with the Area Manager. Requires basic tools (hand tools, cordless screwdriver/impact driver), the ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50+ pounds, pass background and drug tests, and have reliable transportation. Training is provided; experience is welcome but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Day-shift/early morning availability
- Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision
- A mechanical aptitude: you are handy
- Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver
- A smartphone and e-mail address
- Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device
- Ability to pass a background test
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Reliable transportation
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience is a plus, but we will train
