Job Summary
Assemble and repair products and merchandise at on-site locations (Home Depot/Lowe's), following manufacturer instructions and retailer guidelines. Build diverse items (barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, furniture) as part of a seasonal, flexible schedule with pay transitioning to per-piece earnings; typical earnings range from $15-$25 per hour with potential to exceed $30/hour based on productivity. Responsibilities include providing customer service, verifying build lists with Retailer management, generating and completing invoices daily, communicating with the Area Manager, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, hand tools (cordless screw gun/impact driver), smartphone and email, ability to pass background and drug tests, and candidate must be 18+ with reliable transportation and physical endurance.
Required Qualifications
- Day-shift/early morning availability
- Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision
- A mechanical aptitude: you are handy
- Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver
- A smartphone and e-mail address
- Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device
- Ability to pass a background test
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Reliable transportation
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience is a plus, but we will train
