Job Summary
Assemble and repair products and merchandise, including barbecues, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, and furniture, using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines. Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory, then generate and complete invoices daily. Provide excellent customer service by building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, and report effectively with your Area Manager. Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area. This seasonal role at NW Service Enterprises, Inc. fluctuates between Spring through Summer and the Holidays, offering flexible scheduling for part-time or full-time work. Once training is complete, technicians earn a piece rate averaging $17 to $25 per hour, with experienced techs reaching over $30/hour based on productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Day-shift/early morning availability
- Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision
- A mechanical aptitude: you are handy
- A smartphone and e-mail address
- Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device
- Ability to pass a background test
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Reliable transportation
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
