Job Summary
Assembly Technician at NW Service Enterprises, on-site at local Retail Stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart) assembling merchandise and displays (barbecues, bicycles, wheelbarrows, lawn tractors, work benches, furniture). Seasonal, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to work part-time or as much as available. Pay transitions to per-piece production after training, typically $18-$25 per hour, with potential to earn upwards of $30/hour based on productivity. Responsibilities include assembling/repairing products per manufacturer instructions, providing customer service, coordinating builds with retailer management, generating daily invoices, maintaining a safe workspace, and adhering to retailer rules.
Required Qualifications
- Day-shift/early morning availability
- Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision
- A mechanical aptitude: you are handy
- Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver
- A smartphone and e-mail address
- Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device
- Ability to pass a background test
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Reliable transportation
- Capable of working on your feet for extended periods
- Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience is a plus, but we will train
