Job Summary
The Assembly Technician is responsible for all installations and assemblies on transit coaches, ensuring quality and consistency while adhering to safety standards. Key tasks include reviewing assembly instructions, utilizing hand and air tools, and maintaining a clean workstation. Candidates should have past experience with tools, strong mechanical skills, and be able to lift and move varying weights. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work overtime to meet production schedules. Starting wage is $26.40 per hour with immediate benefits and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Past experience with small hand and power tools
- Experience with measuring equipment and tools
- Blueprint experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions
- Team player
- Self-starter
- Ability to work in a team setting
