Job Summary
Assemble, test, document, and troubleshoot valves, valve components, and valve control systems in accordance with manufacturing procedures, assembly drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Perform in-process inspections to verify product quality and conformance to specifications; test valves and related assemblies to ensure proper functionality; document production and testing activities; troubleshoot assembly issues and escalate concerns; support the production team in meeting daily output and quality goals; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and PPE requirements. Must read and follow instructions in English, interpret assembly drawings, and use basic computer tools. Physical requirements include the ability to move throughout the facility and lift up to 75 pounds. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of related assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex work instructions in English
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and written/verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team
- Experience with valve assembly, mechanical components, or industrial manufacturing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with a meal break

- Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work around heavy equipment and in a production/warehouse environment
- May be exposed to varying temperatures and loud noise; PPE provided
