Job Summary
Assemble products according to work instructions, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards using hand and power tools. Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean work area. Support production goals by working collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk up to 10 hours per day, and wear required PPE including safety glasses and closed-toe shoes. This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $19.50 to $21.50, with opportunities for advancement into specialized assembly positions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of assembly experience
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, production documents, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend and reach items at ground level and above the head
- Must be able to work on feet, standing and walking throughout the factory for up to 10 hours per day
- Must be able to wear PPE; to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, face shields
- Adherence to Systemair's safety policy is a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of assembly experience
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting
- Experience assembling or fabricating sheet metal products
- Electrical assembly experience, including wiring or installation of electrical components
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, printing documents, and navigating software applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
