Job Summary
Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final construction equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and torque specifications. Install mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components while safely using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment. Inspect assemblies for quality compliance, identify defects, and participate in root cause analysis to improve product standards. Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies, maintain proper PPE usage, and support a safety-first culture by reporting hazards. Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing practices, and 5S standards to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate within the cross-functional production team, communicate with leads and supervisors, and accurately complete production documentation and build records. Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including Friday - Sunday 6am -6pm
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities
- Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist
- Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force
- Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
- Experience working with heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial machinery
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and torque tools
- Familiarity with quality standards and production metrics
- Experience working to production targets or takt time environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a manufacturing environment
