Assembly Team Lead (1st shift)

Job Summary
Manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities by collaborating with the Area Supervisor to ensure timely delivery of components and finished units. Lead a team of 10–15 associates, acting as a trainer and mentor for new hires while implementing Business Process Standards for continuous improvement. Read work instructions and product drawings to assemble appliances, perform functional tests, and inspect finished products for quality defects. Rework units as needed and maintain a safe environment through adherence to best practices in material handling. Work the first shift with flexibility for overtime and cross-departmental support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (10–15 people)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to work overtime when requested
- Must be flexible to work in other departments when requested
- Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow directions, understand and execute safety and quality procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation
