Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assembly line workers while training new hires on procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Monitor production schedules to adjust staffing and workflow, ensure compliance with regulations, and conduct quality checks on assembled products. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly and maintain accurate production records. Lead a team of assembly technicians in meeting targets and fostering a productive environment through effective communication. This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing assembly with 2+ years in leadership, strong lean manufacturing knowledge, and blueprint interpretation skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly
- at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of assembly technicians
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards
