Assembly Supervisor Lead

Job Summary
Supervise staff to produce manufactured products by assigning daily tasks, monitoring workflow, and enforcing systems and policies. Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, coaching employees, and initiating process improvements to reduce costs. Recruit, select, train, and mentor associates while maintaining quality standards and ensuring equipment operations. Compile and analyze production performance data to resolve personnel problems and facilitate corrections within process control points. Maintain a safe, clean work environment by educating personnel on equipment use and complying with ISO 9001 standards. Work with union members and representatives to follow collective bargaining terms.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of experience as a shop supervisor or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to read industrial specific drawings and specifications
- Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment
- US work authorization without sponsorship
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time

Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a shop supervisor or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Two plus years of experience in the electrical industry
- Experience working in ISO 9001 certified environment
