Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate assembly line workers while ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. Train new employees on assembly procedures and safety protocols, then troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, materials, or processes. Implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed to optimize productivity. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing assembly experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, and strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, and developing assembly teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production management software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
- Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Certification in a relevant area such as Six Sigma Green Belt or similar
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with automated assembly processes or robotics
