Job Summary
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Assembly leading sheet metal control house assembly with hands-on technical support, mentoring teammates, and cross-functional collaboration to drive quality, efficiency, and safety. Responsible for guiding layout, measuring, and marking, recommending process/tool/workflow improvements, troubleshooting complex assembly issues to reduce rework, onboarding and training new assemblers, and developing or contributing to work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids. Serves as a mentor and knowledge resource, supports lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives, and may fill in for Leads or Supervisors during vacations. Requires ability to train others, read blueprints, operate safely with PPE, and work in a fast-paced production environment. Also collaborates with engineering, quality, and production planning to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly (required)
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions (required)
