Job Summary
Subject Matter Expert – Assembly to support sheet metal control house assembly. Serve as the primary technical resource for assembly processes, provide hands-on support, mentor team members, collaborate with the training department to develop work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and safety on the production floor. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex assembly issues, onboarding and training new assemblers, promoting lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives, and stepping in for Leads or Supervisors during vacations or absences. Emphasis on layout, measuring, marking dimensions, reference lines, tool usage, safety practices, and adherence to fabrication and assembly standards, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across engineering, quality, and production planning teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, with demonstrated expertise (required)
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions (required)
