Job Summary
Join our Assembly team as an Assembly Shell Welder, where you will be responsible for welding the shell assembly of custom sheet steel enclosures. Utilize various welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW while adhering to safety guidelines. Successful candidates will interpret welding procedures, properly fit assemblies with calibrated measuring tools, and maintain both equipment and work areas. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least one year of welding experience, alongside proficiency in industry tools and ability to perform tests on materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ year of welding experience
- Experience in various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
- Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Proficient in basic math and able to read tape measures
- Able to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions on various materials
- Capable of lifting up to 100lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test and breath alcohol test
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass the D1.1 and D1.3 weld certifications as part of their pre-hire assessment
