Assembly Rooftop Lounge Bartender Part Time

Job Summary
Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures, and policies regarding beverage and safety controls. Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner while ring guest checks, collect cash, and process credits and room charges. Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists, ensure established pars are maintained, and comply with state liquor laws. Execute all sidework duties according to schedules, lift trays and carts up to 100 lbs, and climb approximately 12 steps 20% of the time. Maintain continuous standing throughout the entire shift while accurately counting cash and operating the register.
Required Qualifications
- Bartending training and certification
- TIPS Certified
- 6 months bartending
- 21 years of age
- Must be able to ruse records and all special requests
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks at one time
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction in English
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be highly organized
- Must be able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations
- Must be able to accurately count cash
- Must be able to operate cash register
- Must be able to lift 20 -40 lbs
- Must be able to push carts, Queen Marys, hotbox, portable bar 50 -100 lbs
- Must be able to carry trays, dish racks, glass racks, etc. 20 -40 lbs
- Must be able to bend to lower level cabinets and lift trays
- Must be able to maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests
- Must be able to stand 100% of the time scheduled
- Must be able to climb approximately 12 steps 20% of 8 hours
