Job Summary
Inspect and document optical-mechanical components, perform mechanical and electrical alignment, and assemble electrical test equipment using appropriate measurement tools. Assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies per instructions, troubleshoot electronic devices using circuit diagrams, and repair equipment while documenting results in SAP. Conduct commissioning and testing at device and system levels, including interface tests per specifications. Prepare production, test, and inspection reports; process and report on production orders; and monitor work results for quantity, quality, and deadline adherence. Partially self-organize tasks in consultation with the team leader. Ensure smooth process flow to other departments and line managers.
Required Qualifications
- State-certified technician or master craftsman
- Completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering/electronics with comparable further training, as well as several years' professional experience in the assembly and repair of electronic assemblies
- Experience in working with technical system documentation and electrical tools
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering/electronics with several years' professional experience in the assembly/repair of electronic assemblies and relevant additional qualifications
- A high degree of diligence, precision and quality awareness
- A goal-oriented, independent and self-reliant approach to work, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to travel on business, primarily within Germany
- Confident use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with communications electronics would be desirable
