Assembly/Paint Supervisor - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Direct the activities of all final assembly lines and paint to achieve quality, safety, and service goals. Supervise assembly and paint teams, build/update production schedules, and provide reports on quality and efficiency. Seek continuous improvement on the production floor; ensure safety policies are followed; verify machine/process safety. Direct and confer with team leaders to meet weekly ship schedules; work with teams to maximize efficiency and productivity. Maintain adherence to company and agency policies; participate in hiring/releasing personnel to maintain schedules; approve time cards and vacations; adjust production schedules as needed. Maintain records of departmental activities and achievements; ensure adherence to BOM and assembly processes; conduct performance evaluations and lead regular department meetings addressing Safety, Quality, Productivity, and related concerns. Perform other duties as required. Required competencies include strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and computer skills. Training provided on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Five years experience in manufacturing setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
