Job Summary
Conduct assemblies and pack final products by examining connections, fastening components according to the Bill of Materials, and verifying specifications in check fixtures. Gather necessary tools, materials, and incoming items to meet quality standards before preparing work. Operate mechanical and power tools while documenting actions on production forms and maintaining a clean environment via 6S procedures. Notify management of equipment issues or inconsistencies as they arise. Work the 3rd shift in an environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read QIS work instructions, control plans or blueprints
- Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
- Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools and various equipment as needed
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Demonstrated computer literacy required
- Effective communication
- Ability to maintain the production pace of BOM standards
- Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on products
