Job Summary
As an Assembly & Packager, 1st Shift, responsibilities include assembling components and final products by following BOM, QIS, and work instructions; verifying specifications by measuring items and using check fixtures; ensuring equipment is operational; assembling parts with mechanical or adhesive fasteners according to blueprints; maintaining a safe, clean 6S workplace; documenting production and quality actions; preparing work by gathering components and tools; and collaborating in a team to meet BOM quality standards. Required: ability to read QIS/work instructions or blueprints, basic math, hand/power tools use, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read QIS work instructions, control plans or blueprints.
- Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools and various equipment as needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Demonstrated computer literacy required.
- Effective communication.
- Ability to maintain the production pace of BOM standards.
- Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
