Job Summary
Assemble and test fiber optic cables and connectors as an Assembly Operator V in Arden. Responsibilities include polishing/test fiber optic cables, assembling/packaging connector components, operating fiber router and over-molding as needed, supporting prototype/NPI builds, conducting precision measurements with calipers/gages, performing quality checks (EFG & IPC), troubleshooting equipment, training new/existing staff, and contributing to continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiency. Requires strong dexterity, ability to work in a clean room, familiarity with optical test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, RF/optical testing), and the ability to read drawings/prints, maintain traceability paperwork, and operate with safety and housekeeping standards. Preferred HS diploma/GED; minimum 3 years manufacturing experience with 2+ years in fiber optic manufacturing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed. Relocation stipend of $2,200 and potential bonus/retention opportunities are available based on training milestones and performance.
Required Qualifications
