Job Summary
Assembles new and/or replacement parts by operating intermediate machines and equipment to assemble complete units or complex subassemblies from blueprints. Set up assembly equipment by adjusting tools and controls; qualify run for first piece approval; load/unload machines using proper handling equipment; operate equipment to achieve high production and quality standards. Maintain quality by following inspection procedures and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies. Perform related duties such as tool/part replacement, keeping the work area orderly, transporting materials safely, and participating in a team-focused environment. Qualifications include high school or equivalent, ability to read basic blueprints, basic shop math, and strong adherence to safety and instructions, with a collaborative, responsible approach to manufacturing processes at BorgWarner’s Arden, NC facility.
