Job Summary
Assemble parts according to drawings and instructions while verifying accuracy using measuring equipment and gauges. Complete necessary paperwork on the line and perform quality checks on parts within the assigned process. Assist new employees by teaching them how to operate equipment, read specification sheets, and follow quality plans. Adhere to quality and safety systems while rotating through all departmental jobs in this classification. Attend required training and complete special projects as assigned. Note that less than high school education is required, no prior experience is needed, and the position offers a 1st shift schedule from 8am to 4:30pm for $17.50/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Good or corrected eyesight
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, drawings, quality plans and company policies
- Ability to perform simple math problems such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication of 2-3 digit numbers
