Job Summary
Assemble, build, and test mechanical or electromechanical products to engineering specifications; operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently; follow SOPs and lean/manufacturing guidelines; maintain a clean, organized workstation per 5S; contribute to continuous improvement on the production line by identifying issues early and supporting quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a production/manufacturing environment working with manufacturing tools, equipment, and safety protocols
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing material handling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Alert, dependable, and safety-focused
- Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments
- Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in a process-oriented operation
