Job Summary
Assemble electrical fastening products and components using hand and power tools in accordance with work instructions, blueprints, and job routings. Perform regular quality checks to ensure parts meet nVent standards and record accurate information on Manufacturing Orders to maintain inventory balances. Select and move production materials, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety, quality, and 5S standards. Report adverse conditions, non-conforming products, or violations to the department leader per escalation procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while participating in continuous improvement activities. Perform rotational assignments as needed to support production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in use of scales
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints
- Experience in assembling mechanical parts into a finished product
- Experience in using hand and power tools
- Prior experience working in a light industrial facility
