Job Summary
Assemble mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic equipment. Interpret shop orders, blueprints, and engineered drawings to meet specifications. Count and package small parts with precision, perform quality inspections using measuring devices, and maintain production schedules. Utilize Spacesaver’s ERP to manage shop orders and report data. Adhere to safety protocols (Lock Out Tagout, ergonomic practices) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Requires the ability to read English instructions, operate precision measuring tools, and work both independently and as part of a team. Equal Opportunity Employer; overtime may be required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors)
- Strong attention to detail, time management, multitasking
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
