Assembly Mechanic

Job Summary
The Assembly Mechanic will read and follow drawings, prints, and blueprints to assemble finished products, using hand tools, electric and pneumatic power tools, cranes and forklifts. Requires intermediate understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ability to read measuring tools, perform basic shop math, and follow safety protocols. Must be able to interpret directives from leads or supervisors, maintain a clean work area, operate lifting aids, and adapt to early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts as needed. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential; lean manufacturing experience is preferred. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs with team lift and operate in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of related press brake experience; 2-5 yrs. preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment not required, but highly desirable
- Experience/knowledge in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, confined space work
