Job Summary
Assembly Maintenance Repair Technician to maintain and repair assembly equipment including automation, robotics (Fanuc), and PLC systems in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining assembly equipment; diagnosing failures in robotics, pneumatic systems, and PLCs; performing preventive maintenance via CMMS; documenting work orders and inventory; operating tools, meters, forklifts, and lifts; participating in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce waste. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or technical certification with proficiency in pneumatic systems, AC/DC control circuits, ladder logic, and welding-related processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in assembly automation/robotics/PLC systems
- Experience with Fanuc robotics
- PLC troubleshooting
- lockout/tagout procedures
