Job Summary
Supervise a manufacturing production line assembling fabricated parts by creating daily schedules, monitoring work against specifications, and ensuring operations run timely and cost-effectively. Provide leadership, coaching, and discipline to employees while handling hiring, training, performance appraisals, and complaint resolution. Maintain a safe, tidy work environment, prepare required reports, and implement continuous improvement opportunities. Ensure strict compliance with company policies and industry regulations while managing workflow and prioritizing tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years related manufacturing experience or equivalent
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
- Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds at times
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred
